Previously I've already tried another mascara from L'Oreal, and that was the Telescopic one (in golden tube), I think that was my first mascara ever and I really loved it. But since I like trying out new mascaras, this time (after years of using mascaras from other brands) I decided to return my attention to L'Oreal and buy this one.
First impression: I will be honest, it was bad. Like, so bad. Firstly I felt like it was too watery, didn't define my eyelashes, didn't curl them and looked all kind weird.
Later: I decided to try figuring out a way to apply this mascara. The brush was pretty fine to work with and the product inside dried a little bit after a week of using, it kinda started looking better on my lashes.
BUT.
It made my eyes red after few hours of being on.
To apply this and achieve the "butterfly wings" aka make my eyelashes look the way I wanted to - defined and full (yet still clumpy a little), I had to spend like 2-3 coats and 30 minutes!
Side note: I don't claim myself a mascara applying pro, but previously I've tested more than 20 different mascaras and none of them was that hard to cooperate with.
AND ON TOP OF THAT...
It got dry after like... 3 months, and I didn't use every single day, just so you know. And as it got dry, now after applying I would get black dots all over my undereye area and even on my cheeks.
Honestly, I was relieved when I bought another mascara and now that I created this review, I can happily throw this one away.
Never again. AS FOR RATE, 1/5.
P.S. I believe, there are girls out there, who love this mascara and find it working, but honestly, for its price, we should've gotten a product with much better quality.
Send me your opinions about this mascara, I am curious. xx
Maybelline doing amazing drugstore mascara's. My top picks would be The Falsies or Rocket, I guarantee you'll be impressed xx
ReplyDeleteI tried those two and The Falsies was my favorite mascara last year, not anymore though! Thanks) xx
DeleteI haven't tried too many mascaras but I find that Maybelline and Revlon are pretty reliable ... also I'm just letting you know that I nominated you for the Sisterhood of World Bloggers award, you can check out all the rules and stuff on my blog :)
